Hannah knew it wasn’t real. She had seen real, stared it right in the face until it disappeared and the illusion popped into her head and fed her with blasphemies and other lies that would corrupt her sweet, innocent, fourteen year old brain.
“You are one strange human. Always closing your eyes and imagining these horrible things. We are horrible things Hannah; and yet, you still decided to come back, just to escape the ‘horrors’ of your own life because you can’t cope.”
“I don’t know who you are.” Hannah explained with a deep breath. She didn’t want to make the illusion mad, because if she did she would be sent back to the real world, where nothing can change with a blink.
“You know me.” The illusion said flatly, the black space becoming tainted with red as his minions stepped forward. “I am you. I live inside of you, hibernating until you call for us. You like seeing the horrible things we create, and me and my fellow creatures just love to make you happy.”

couldn’t deny what the illusion was telling her. She needed it as much as it needed her. She loved the feeling of being scared of something she could control. The adrenaline in her body did races as her heart rate spiked and her palms become sweaty as the illusion’s servants stepped forward, rearing their ugly heads and their mangled, bloody bodies.
Human wasn’t the word to describe these horrible creatures. There were only two and Hannah had given them names: Pain and Fear.
Hannah didn’t know why she wanted to call them that. Maybe it was because of the way they looked every time they came near her, bloody, tortured, cut up and stitched back together until none of their body parts matched another. Or maybe it was the way they screamed. The hollow empty scream they would produce every time they’d come near her, the sounds of panic and hurt flowed out of their voice like a river as their black eyes followed you everywhere.
“You need to stop making Master upset.” Panic said, leaving
