"Is-is that you?" you hear Maya stutter. "I thought you were - dead!"
You are shocked. You have a sister?! The nurse didn't tell you about a sister. "We ARE related?!"
She speaks back, "Yes! We are! James, how could I have forgotten you? Where were you? You do know that-" She pauses, as if realizing. "Oh, I'm so sorry..."
You think, piecing the puzzle together. Your name is James, you have brown hair and green eyes, are an orphan with adoptive parents, and now you have an older sister.

You slowly ask Maya,"Where were you when I was in hospital?"
"You were?" She gapes. "I-I didn't know... All I had heard was that Grandpa and Grandma were in a car crash, a bad one..."
She suddenly hugs you, and you can smell her deodorant. "Oh, I'm so sorry...."
You push her away. "Maya, there's one thing I don't understand. The nurse told me that my parents were shot when I was 6. What happened?"
